TICKETS $4.00 Adults, $1.00 Children under 18.

Parking is available in the main lot. You can access the lot by turning into the driveway off W. Union Boulevard onto 9th Avenue by the stadium.
DIRECTOR INFORMATION
Please complete the jazz festival information document below by Friday, March 6.
Please download the blank stage setup and fill it out by hand or PDF editor. I will need this document by Monday, March 16.
· All bands should unload buses in the bus channel at the front of the school.
· Enter through the main entrance by the clock tower.
· Register in the main lobby.
· Report to designated classroom (bass, amps, drum sets, etc. may be left in the staging hallway behind the stage. All other instruments should go to your assigned classroom.)
Students, directors, and chaperones will receive a refreshment coupon to redeem in the caf.
· All groups except Nitschmann will then report to their assigned rooms.
PLEASE BE TUNED AND READY TO GO BEFORE YOU GET ON THE STAGE

Please be respectful of our classrooms. Do not allow your students to touch materials or items in your host classroom.
This is the anticipated schedule. You will be notified of any necessary changes.
Awards presented after the Nitschmann performance. Directors should have two student representatives meet in the hallway outside the auditorium for trophy presentations. Refreshments will be available to all participants during the evening in the cafeteria. The cafeteria will be closing at 8:45 pm.
Nitschmann Jazz Festival Awards Explained
Each school will receive a BEST SOLOIST for their school.
Each school will receive a BEST SECTION for their school (Woodwind, Brass, Rhythm)
We will select 3 Best Overall Soloists from the festival.
1 Best Overall Woodwind Soloist
1 Best Overall Rhythm Soloist
1 Best Overall Brass Soloist
We will select a BEST OVERALL WOODWIND SECTION, BEST OVERALL BRASS SECTION, BEST OVERALL RHYTHM SECTION out of all the middle schools participating in the festival.
