Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is the year for the orchestra and jazz band to take an overnight trip. We have made arrangements for the orchestra and jazz band to travel to Boston, MA on April 12, & 13, 2024.
I need to get a headcount of how many students will be participating as well as how many parents are interested in chaperoning on this trip. (Chaperons pay the same price as the students)
PARENT CHAPERONES
Parents must have their clearances on file in the Nitschmann office. If you are not sure if your information is on file, contact the Nitschmann office at 610-866-5781. Information on how to renew or apply for your clearances can be found at https://www.basdschools.org/volunteering.
The cost of the trip per person is $345 per person.
Payment Schedule
November 17, 2023 – Payment 1 $75.00 per person
($50 cancellation fee if you cancel after this date)
December 20, 2023 – Payment 2 $70.00 per person
($50 cancellation fee if you cancel after this date)
January 12, 2024 – Payment 3 $100.00 per person
($100cancellation fee if you cancel after this date)
February 14, 2024 – Payment 4 $100.00 per person
(No refund if you cancel after this date)
TRIP INCLUSIONS
Deluxe transportation via lavatory equipped coaches with DVD capabilities from school

- 2:00 PM Arrive at Faneuil Hall Marketplace – Premier Meal Voucher provided
- 3:00 PM Walk to New England Aquarium
- 3:15 PM Admission to New England Aquarium until 5:00 PM
- 5:15 PM Depart for Doubletree by Hilton Boston North Shore
- 6:15 PM Arrive and check into the hotel
- 7:30 PM Dinner provided at the hotel
- 11:00 PM Private Nighttime Security Guard on duty until 6:00 AM
