Jazz band at LVIA

The jazz band will be performing at the Lehigh Valley Airport on December 19.

This trip is going to work similar to last year.  The jazz band will be performing at 8:30 AM in the airport terminal.  The jazz students will need to meet AT THE AIRPORT instead of school.  They will need to be dropped off between 7:30 & 7:45 AM at the airport departure terminal.  (The top level)  Parents are invited to stay and watch. They airport will validate your parking. We will perform from 8:30-9:30 AM.  The students will wear their jazz band uniform as well as any appropriate festive attire.

Following our performance at LVIA, the jazz band will board a school bus to then go to Hanover, Asa Packer, and Calypso Elementary Schools to play some festive holiday music for their students.

We are going to stop off at Wegmans for lunch this year.  Your child will need money for lunch.  Once we finish lunch we will return to Nitschmann around 2:00 PM.

Parents who have volunteered to chaperone for this event might want to park around Nitschmann in the morning and carpool over to the airport since we will have a bus to bring us back.  We will also need to make sure everything is loaded the night before (Dec. 18) so we don’t have to do it that morning.
