WEEKLY SCHEDULE
*Doors are open from 7:00 – 7:15 am. If you arrive after 7:15 am, you will need to buzz into the building using the main entrance.

- NIMAS General Membership Meeting at 7:30 pm in the instrumental music room. We will provide you with information about the instrumental music programs and happily answer any questions you may have.
- Attendees should enter through the MAIN BUILDING ENTRANCE. Doors will be unlocked from 7:20 – 7:40 P.M.

EARLY MORNING REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR
BAND – Every Monday and Thursday that school is in session. THE FIRST EARLY MORNING BAND REHEARSAL IS THURSDAY, AUGUST 28.
ORCHESTRA – Every Tuesday and Friday that school is in session. THE FIRST EARLY MORNING ORCHESTRA REHEARSAL IS FRIDAY, AUGUST 29.
JAZZ BAND – Every Wednesday that school is in session. THE FIRST EARLY MORNING JAZZ BAND REHEARSAL IS ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27.
COLOR GUARD INFORMATION
COLOR GUARD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Rehearsals are every Monday and Thursday from 7:25 – 8:05 am.
Make sure you are practicing your basic skills at home: marching skills, equipment skills, spins, combinations, routines, etc.

Instrumental Music uniform item orders
Click on the link below to complete this form so the appropriate items can be ordered for your child. Orders must be placed by Sunday, August 17. Payment is due on September 10 at uniform pick up where you will also receive the items requested.
Orders will be added to your obligations on CutTime. Payments can be made by check made payable to NIMAS, by cash in an envelope with the name of the student, or on CutTime using a credit/debit card.

ITEMS TO ORDER:
Blue ID Shirt $13.50 – $17.50 – All participants in the instrumental music program, including adults who want to chaperone, need a blue ID shirt. If you need one, or your child out grew theirs, complete the order form below for the new ID shirt. Submit an additional order if you need to more than one shirt.
Tux shirt $21 – All orchestra and jazz members need the white tux shirt. (Returning member should check to see if their current pair still fits.)
Black bow tie $5- All orchestra members need a black bowtie. (You only need to purchase this is you do not have one)
Color guard boots $43 – All members of the color guard who will wear the plaid shirt will need to purchase the white color guard boots. (Returning member should check to see if their current pair still fit.
Black band shoes $33 – All members of the band who will wear the gray band uniform pants need to purchase the plain black band shoe. (Returning member should check to see if their current pair still fit.)
White color guard gloves $7 – All members of the color guard need to have a pair of white color guard gloves. (Returning member should check to see if their current pair still fit.)
Blue garment bag $14 – All members in the band, that include the color guard, are required to have the blue garment bag. This item is yours to keep.

EARLY MORNING DROP OFF INFORMATION
ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL
All students should be dropped off in the large parking lot in front of the school. Please do not drop your child off in the bus channel or in the small parking lot by the auditorium.
Students will enter and exit the building using the AUDITORIUM ENTRANCE by the flag pole.

Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and get involved in the instrumental music program. We need volunteers for parades, concerts, and many other activities.
Parents must have their clearances on file in the Nitschmann office. If you are not sure if your information is on file, contact the Nitschmann office at 610-866-5781. Information on how to renew or apply for your clearances can be found at http://www.nmsim.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/BASD-Volunteer-Clearance-Info.pdf.
Signing up to volunteer is quite simple. Open up CutTime through any message you’ve received and scroll through the events. Events that need chaperones are indicated with a green notice like in the image below. Simply click on the green chaperone request and follow the prompts.
