*Doors are open from 7:00 – 7:15 am. If you arrive after 7:15 am, you will need to buzz into the building using the main entrance.

- Yearbook group photos – All instrumental students should wear their blue ID shirt. Students should arrive 5 min early for their group photo.

COLOR GUARD INFORMATION
Rehearsals during the school year are Mondays and Thursdays at 7:15am (doors open at 7am).

Mark your Calendar!
The Winter Color Guard performance is the evening of Wednesday March 19. Please make sure you are available on this night. Students will report at 7pm, and the performance will begin around 8pm.

NIMAS By-Laws 2024
The next NIMAS general membership meeting is on Wednesday, February 19 at 7:30 pm in the instrumental music room. Attendees should enter through the MAIN BUILDING ENTRANCE. Doors will be unlocked from 7:20-7:40.

Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer and get involved in the instrumental music program. We need volunteers for parades, concerts, and many other activities.
Parents must have their clearances on file in the Nitschmann office. If you are not sure if your information is on file, contact the Nitschmann office at 610-866-5781. Information on how to renew or apply for your clearances can be found at http://www.nmsim.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/BASD-Volunteer-Clearance-Info.pdf.
Signing up to volunteer is quite simple. Open up CutTime through any message you’ve received and scroll through the events. Events that need chaperones are indicated with a green notice like in the image below. Simply click on the green chaperone request and follow the prompts.

8th Grade Music & Drama NYC TRIP
All adults must have all their background clearances on file by January 31, 2025. Chaperones and students must participate in all aspects of the trip.
Full payment of $127 per person is due by January 30, 2025
Checks should be made payable to NIMAS.
If your availability changes, you are responsible for full payment of the trip unless a replacement can be found to take your place.

Each box is $96
Each candy bar is sold for $2.00 (48 bars per box)
The seller earns $30 per box toward their fair share account
The NIMAS general fund receives $6 per box.
Candy is available for pickup at the monthly NIMAS meeting.
