Saucon Valley Parade

Where: Saucon Valley Middle School

Report time: 1:00 PM

Hellertown Streets will begin closing at 1:30 PM.  Plan ahead.

The actual parade begins at 2:00 PM

We are in Division: TBD

*Parents must transport their child to and from the parade

• Turn left to merge onto PA-378 S2.5 mi
• Turn left onto Seidersville Rd
• 0.5 mi
• Continue straight onto Hickory Hill Rd
• 1.0 mi
• Continue onto Friedensville Rd
• 0.3 mi
• Turn right onto Meadows Rd
• 0.6 mi
• Continue straight onto Skibo Rd
• 0.4 mi
• Continue onto W Walnut St
• 0.2 mi
• Turn right onto Main St
• 0.4 mi

Where to park: Saucon Valley Middle School

Please leave yourself enough time to get to Saucon Valley Middle School.  You must be there by 1:00 or you will have a difficult time getting to the Middle School.

What to Wear:

We are wearing our full uniform complete with, hats, short sleeve  t-shirt under the uniform jacket

 Winds & Percussion black shoes and black socks

Color guard white boots, white socks, gloves, hat (Your skirt should fall just above your knees)

Actual Parade begins at 2:00 PM (2 hrs to complete)

Parade Route:
The parade will begin to move at 2 p.m., marching west on Walnut before turning north onto Main Street at the traffic light.

The parade route will cut through the heart of downtown Hellertown before turning east onto Water Street at Borough Hall, and continuing in that direction along Rentzheimer Drive and Durham Street past the pool and Dimmick Park.

Finally, the parade route will take marchers south on Constitution Avenue, through the Mountainview neighborhood, and back to the school district campus.

Students must take their instruments home with them on Thursday 10/17 or Friday 10/18!!!

 

THE SCHOOL WILL NOT BE OPEN SUNDAY MORNING!
