Weekly News of Note for August 12

Hello Everyone,
Each week I will be sending out and email with information regarding rehearsal schedules and other events for the instrumental music program.  The email will come from a Google groups email “Nitschmann Instrumental Music Association.”  I am currently completing the rollover of emails into this group for easier communication.  However, for this week I am sending it from you school email.

Rehearsal schedule: Monday-Friday

Strings 7:30-8:30 am

Band 9:00-11:00 am

Jazz 11:30am -12:30 pm      Jazz auditions will be on Thursday and Friday following the band session

Athletic/Summer Music Camp schedules for this week
Cross country – String students will attend orchestra until 8 AM and then proceed to XC practice.  Band students will attend XC practice until 9:30 and then come to band.

Volleyball – String students will be dismissed from orchestra at 8 AM to attend volleyball. Band students should report to band at 10 AM. Band students need to arrive at band quickly so they do not miss almost a full week of rehearsal.

Field Hockey –  Band students will be dismissed from band at 10 AM to attend field hockey practice.  If they are in jazz band they should return promptly at 12:00 PM.
